Valentine's Love

For Valentine's Days (it started on Friday and ended on Sunday) Mardy brought me home this massive bouquet. Its so tall it nearly reaches my armpits. The best part was that he had to walk a good 15 blocks back with the flowers and the giant vase. We put it into our lounge and thought how lovely having some greenery in there was. Once the flowers started to open they looked absolutely gorgeous. After two days of having some of the flowers open (still lots more to open) the powerful flora aroma was too much for us to take so we've moved it into the entrance where we can gaze upon it from afar but not get too over powered from the fumes. Thank you Love, they are truly gorgeous. On the Saturday night we went to a North African restaurant and had the first two things on the menu (I had no idea what I was ordering). Mardy and I were both very impressed, Raven ate lots and seemed to really enjoy it. Oh and of course Raven was wearing her princess dress. She seems to wear it 3 or 4 days a week....maybe a certain uncle could pick us up one in a bigger size so she can keep being this cute.....

A few weeks ago friends of our took us ice skating. I have to say that I'm not as good on dull skates as I would have hoped. Oh well it was still fun and me and Mardy still pretended that we were speed skaters.

Here are just some pictures of Mardy doing some chin ups on the chin up bar with Raven on his legs. I guess his Grandpa use to do the same thing but with his wife hanging on. To make matters more complicated Mardy remembers that his Grandpa did it all one handed while Grannie Dawn hung on. Crazy.

Is the princess dress the one we got her for our wedding?

Why have I been thinking about ice skating so much lately. DId you take Raven with you? Love the picture with Raven hanging on to Mardy's legs. Cute. :)

Raven was too young to go so we left her with our friends kids and a babysitter. I definitely think we'll have to make it a yearly thing.

Suzi, didn't you guys go skating in Phoenix?
