Christmas 2011

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We had a great English Christmas this year. It all started with Raven's school christmas Nativity Show. Raven was a singer and she learned lots of new Christmas songs.

We normally don't get to watch Raven's ballet practice but for the last practice before Christmas the parents got to watch. Raven was by far the best. She listened to her teacher so well and she pointed her toes so nicely.

Raven photography always amazes me. This is our Christmas tree before all of the other presents buried it. Raven got her own Little People's Nativity set this year. She loved playing with it.

Every year the Bournemouth ward Primary puts on the Nativity play. Raven along with 13 other girls got to be angels.

The only way we got to see snow this year was to visit Santa's grotto (and it wasn't even real, Raven was a little disappointed).

Finally getting our picture with Santa. Raven wanted it just to be her by herself this year so we got one and then Santa invited me and Mardy into the picture and I just couldn't resist.

We invited the Elders over for Christmas after church. Can you guess what their presents were?

We had a really good Christmas. We even got to go to our first ever English Pantomime. It was so crazy fun. I had a sore throat after from all the yelling (oh no she didn't, oh yes she did, right behind you). We had so much fun. Our friends Megan and Zoe were even in it which made it all the more special.

Christmas morning Raven woke up and I told her that Santa came. She could care less. All she wanted to know is if it snowed. I had to crush her little heart by telling her that it was too nice of a day for snow. She's still waiting for "Real Christmas" when it snows and so she can throw a snowball at me. Maybe next year.....

I'm almost embarrassed of all the photos that I've put up this year, its the largest bunch so far! But then I remember all the great memories from each one and it makes me wish I would have put up the other 20 I had to cut from the best of list.
