Raven's pictures of Canada

I finally downloaded the pictures from Raven's camera and low and behold I found a ton of pictures of Canada.  Enjoy! 

Year 1

Raven has started year one.  She has the same friends as last year and loves it.  Because I'm working and Mardy's classes are longer this year she has to go to after school club :( but she likes it :)

Raven started kickboxing!  She loves it!!  On her first day she learned the superman punch.

So she still punches like a girl but we're working on it!

On Sunday we went to one of our most favourite spots in England.  Durdle Door!

We finally get to be in the picture together.  Raven was going a little overboard with her picture taking. It was pretty funny.

A Quick Canada trip

Recently Raven and I (Mardy) were able to make a quick 10 day trip back to Canada. Unfortunately Charlotte was not able to come with us so we promised to take a lot of pictures. These are some of our favourite things and some of the things that we miss most about Canada. 

Visiting Family

Although it was only a quick trip we were able to see a bunch of family and spend time hanging out with them. We got to meet two brand new cousins and also spend time with some Great Grand Parents. Raven loved being able to see her cousins and spending time with them.

From the big sky to the flat prairies, the Rocky Mountains and the freezing lakes we enjoyed seeing it all again. +30 weather is always appreciated as well.

Having Fun
We had a very busy 10 days full of lots of different fun things. From riding horses to floating down the Old Man River, from campfires and hotdogs to swimming pools and real (Albertan) Chinese food, from shooting guns to (most importantly) teaching Raven to drive, we were able to do all sorts of things with family and friends which made the days fly by.

And we can't forget!

ROOT BEER! The good kind too... this guy knows what I'm talking about.
