Wales weekend

This weekend Mardy had an American football game in Wales so we decided to make it into a quick camping trip. We brought Kimmy with us because she really wanted to come with us. Saturday we spent pretty much the entire day at the game then we headed back to our campsite and stopped for a bite to eat at a carvery. I've never had Aunt Bessie's yorkshire puddings at a carvery before (usually they are homemade) but hey it was cheap and no one got sick. The next day we spent in Waterfall country in the Brecon beacons. I loved every minute of it. We've heard that its best to go when its raining because the falls are at their best and we were not disappointed. It rained nearly the entire weekend and by that I mean there were occasionally a few minutes here and there when it wasn't raining. It was a quick trip but it was sure fun! Now we're planning our Scotland trip for next summer. Have I ever mentioned that I love living here???

10 Years

I missed my 10 year high school reunion! I was so sad to miss it but we couldn't afford to make the journey home........so we went to Italy instead...... The plan was to go home for the summer this year but we went home for Christmas instead.

So here are some highlights since high school

Prom

1-Finished College!

2-Started working, I love making money!

3-Met a tall, dashing, incredibly handsome young man and some how he convinced me to marry him.

4-moved to San Diego and back again.

5-Had a baby who turned out to be the sweetest, cutest, funniest little girl ever.

6-Had lazer eye surgery. I love 20/20 vision!

7-moved to England, I love Bournemouth! And the Bournemouth Airport because they have cheap flights all over Europe!

8-called to the Young Women's for the 4th time. Finally starting to get the hang of it.....

9- visited Mexico, Hawaii, England, Germany, France, Belgium, Malta, Italy and this weekend Wales

10-Fell in love with shoes! If only I had the outfits to go with them.

Hopefully the next ten years have just as much adventures in store for us. We hope to stay in Bournemouth (buy a house and a kayak and a hot tub) but if we can't we'd love to live all around the world. Raven is growing up so fast. She is starting reception (kindergarten) in September and we've already gotten her school uniform. Mardy starts his third year of law in September but he is already starting his training contract applications for 2013! Hopefully we'll be able to learn where we are going to be soon. I finally got my Radiography registration for here so hopefully I'll be able to start working again.

This guy has been a big part of my life in the last almost 10 years! Love you!

It was a long day.....

We found these locks all over Italy. Love Locks are a custom by which sweethearts affix padlocks to a fence or similar public fixture to symbolize their everlasting love.

Ponte Vecchio is the oldest and most famous bridge in Florence.

Saturday

Volterra

Volterra is set on a hill and has lovely view of the Tuscan county side.

Sunday

We went to church and met the Vitaglione family. In the post where we went to Brown Sea Island Elder Vitaglione was the one sitting in the pushchair. We went to his families house for dinner our last night in Italy. The Pisa branch have a lovely building. It was the first LDS church built in Italy.

Monday

Cinque Terre is one of the most beautiful places in Italy a must see if you are anywhere near that area. Cinque Terre are 5 villages. We were able to walk from the 1st to the 2nd village but the 3rd and 4th paths were washed out so we had to take the train between them. We spent most of the day at the last village playing on the beach and kayaking.

Tuesday

More swimming and exploring all the shops in the near by towns only to find that they were closed. That night we went to dinner at the Vitaglione families house and had yummy yummy Tuscan food! I'm so sad that we don't have a picture of that. They were going to email Mardy a picture but they haven't yet....

More Stourhead, it was raining like crazy but we loved it anyway.

We found these tiny frogs on the path. We must have run over a ton of them with the stroller before we noticed them because they were sure hard to avoid after that.
