30th Birthday weekend

At the end of May Mardy finished writing all his exams for his third year of law school!!!  Just in time to celebrate his thirtieth birthday weekend.  I gave him a bat for his birthday and said that we should go to the park to try it out.  When we got there Mardy said "are they throwing around a baseball?"  I said "surprised?" he said "who are they" and I said "I think you might know some of them".  He was truly surprised.  

We played a few rounds of baseball and then it started to rain so we went to the church for a party.  It was also Jon's birthday.  Jon helped me invite everyone.

After church on Sunday we loaded up the car and went camping.  It was only 13 miles from home but we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere.  We definitely want to go back!

Our friends Matt and Hannah stayed in the white yurt.  It was nice to have a fire outside but once it started raining it was really nice to go inside the yurt and have a fire in there.

 Sunday dinner was salmon and potatoes.  Yum!

Raven hates it when we kiss so when she took this picture she was furious with us!

 Well it looks like I am one kissy girl.

 We had so much fun camping we decided to stay an extra night!

Today we got home from camping and rushed to get ready for the Jubilee celebrations at the church.  Sorry no pictures but I'm sure some pictures of me in my fancy hat will pop up somewhere.   "God Save the Queen!"  Look at me being a royalist!
