I love Internet

For the past month we've been without internet. It was painful. There were a few times I could go with Mardy to school and use it there or go to McDonalds where it was painfully slow, but now victoriously we have it at home. I'm really wondering how we went without a computer for the first year of our marriage. That being said, I'm sorry you two faithful readers but hows a girl to post when she's got now access.
When we first got here we stayed with the Bishop and his family for two weeks until we were able to get into our apartment. Since then we've gotten pretty well all settled in and the remainder of our things arrived from Canada on Saturday. We were able to take a Steam train to Swanage with the Bishop that was really neat. Swanage is really a beautiful little fishing village. Raven and I were also able to go to the New Forest with the family we were staying with and we saw the wild new forest ponies.
Mardy has been enjoying school immensely. He's even disappointed that he doesn't need to write a dissertation. I've been having a great time being able to stay at home with Raven but I'm a little peeved with Mardy for not getting the potty training over with while he was the stay at home dad. Yesterday Mardy came home from school late, Raven was having a terrible time with potty training and it completely took me off guard. The apartment was a complete disaster, the dishes weren't done, the laundry wasn't folded and I'm pretty sure my armpits hadn't gotten their daily dose of deodorant. He took one look at me, gave me a hug and said with a grin "I know exactly what you are going through, how many other husbands can say that?"
Today it was Mardy's day off of school so we went to the beach to take some fall pictures. Now we're home and I'm waiting for my groceries to arrive that I bought online. So convenient. I am not missing having a car in the least bit. Oh I think my groceries just arrived.

You are already sounding British. Immensely, peeved. Love it Love. Could you explain a bit more about the natural forest ponies? I bet ZZ's girls would love to hear about it, and so would I (this is Clarissa)

The New Forest is like a preservation park. There aren't much trees there anymore because I think it was Henry the eighth that cut them all down to make his war ships. The New Forest ponies are a special breed of wild ponies that live in the forest protected. They don't spook easy but they wouldn't let me pet them.

And when I say there aren't much trees I still mean more than back home on the prairies but less than our forests.

Thank you for the post. I've been waiting and waiting. Of course I've seen the pictures on facebook, but I LOVE the stories - especially the one where Mardy came home and gave you a big hug. :) Love it. Glad everything is working out!!
love,
One of your two very MOST faithful readers.

Yes Jenn, you are the only one in Fort Macleod not ordering groceries online. Silly girl you live 30 seconds away from the grocery store.
