I got a job! Finally!! I work in admin purchasing supplies for an ATM refurbishing company. Basically I'm an online shopper. Raven is still in school for a two more weeks so Mardy walks her to and from school every day. She's starting to make a list of every thing she wants to do during her holidays. Looks like they will be having fun while I'm at work.
A few months ago Mardy saw that Blink 182 would be in Bournemouth and thinking we were still 17 we decided to get tickets. So last night we went and saw them and I was a little worried I was a little too old for something like that. Man was I wrong. We were in the nose bleeds but it was still good. We were actually right behind a 70 year old couple and the old man was even singing along to one of the songs. I'm so glad we went. Blink was amazing and Travis Barker was more than I could have imagined. It was kind of cute because every once in awhile you would see a little girl dressed in pink dart out on the stage and sit on the steps to the drums. When I was little I would sometimes go with my dad on the tractor. When you are Travis Barker's little girl you get to go to rock concerts.
Other big news....Raven got her first Umbrella. Here are two of the many many photos from her photo shoot.
A few weeks ago we went to the Temple while Raven had a primary activity there at the same time. This is one of the pictures I found on her camera. That almost looks like a Johnny smile.
For Canada day Raven and I made this cake. We lit candles and sang "Oh Canada" and then blew them out. I wish we could have gone to London but decided against it because I had to work the next day. Maybe next year.....

Cute cute cute little Raven, what a Little princess. The canada cake is great, nice job. I don't know who that band is you saw but I'll have to look them up. I can't believe Raven,s still in school, she needs a break! She is going to be too smart for all us westerners.
Blink 182? Awesome. No one likes you when you're 22. I changed that to 32 when Stewart turned 32. That's how old I'll be in November. Can't believe it. Raven looks so cute. I hope she never grows out of her photo shoots.

Yeah, you got a job just in time for summer. :) Just kidding that is what we are doing these days - trying to have fun now that Mark has a real job instead of the student life. Man student life really does have it's perks. I love Ravens photo shoots - that rapunzel braid almost looks like it could be hers - it's the right color. Congrats to Mardy on his grades. Success is so rewarding! Oh ya and for Canada day I made a raspberry pie and then forgot to tell everyone the reason we were having red and white dessert was for Canada day. I should have gone with your idea - no one would have needed reminding!!
