When Zela comes to town

Its always nice to have visitors but its extra special to have sisters come for a visit. I'm so glad that we don't live in Saskatchewan because I am sure that we wouldn't have had this many visitors as we've had here. We've been so lucky.

For Zees visit we walked from Lulworth cove to Durdle door, went exploring in London for the day, horse back riding on the heath and eating fish and chips on the beach. Wednesday was a cold and rainy day but Zee Zee was determined to go swimming in the sea. It was the only day we could fit it in. We hid inside McDonalds sneekily eating other food while the hardest part of the rainstorm hit. Mardy came to save us with umbrellas and as we were walking in the lower gardens the rain let up and by the time we made it to the beach the sun was peaking in and out of the clouds. That was enough for Zee and in she went. Well I couldn't let her swim alone so I went out with her for the first time since living here. It wasn't nearly as bad as I imagined it to be. Finally we took a long drive through the countryside and ended up in Bath for the afternoon. We saw a man painting portraits by the Bath Abbey and Raven wanted to get hers done so she sat on my lap for twenty minutes while he painted her picture. Raven loved it and still loves looking at it all the time. The next day we had to say goodbye to Aunty Zee Zee and she is now home safe and sound with her little family.

We sure had fun with Aunty Zee Zee. Raven loved having so much attention.

Great pictures, especially the ones at the ocean. I often looked at my little bath abbey shot glass this week that Clarissa gave me and wondered if you guys were there. Then I wondered, what the heck is bath abbey anyway!

I'm glad you don't live in Saskatchewan too. I like to tell people that my best friend lives in England now. It makes me famous... :) Thanks for being so cool.

Charlotte, I have a serious problem. It seems as though constellation was removed from your playlist and i listen to this every night during my wind down computer time. Can you fix my serious problem. I do love the new stuff from Jack too and continue to listen to all the other great songs, but WHY WHY constellation, that was my favorite.

Dear Suzi, I was not the one to take the Jack Johnson and Eddie Vedder version of Constellations off, it was the playlist website that took it off. I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. Please except my sincere apology in this matter. I have added the original Jack Johnson version just for you. I hope this helps. Please send me more requests or advice on my playlist choice because I am unable to hear any of the music in this part of the world and often totally forget about it.

I spose Jack's original will do, but it hardly compares with the eddie vedder version. Just keep adding tunes and I will be a happy camper. I especially like the one by Mistyashi.

Oh and thankyou for you concern in my musical wellbeing. I really love mellow wind down music. Especially anything inspiring and uplifting.

Dear Suzi, a copy of the Jack Johnson and Eddie Vedder Constellations can be found on itunes. Look for Jacks album En Concert and its number 12.

Mark says to tell Mardy I am the proud owner of a 44...except I don't even know what that is. :) It did provoke a nice little argument about how Canadians make fun of Americans for having guns and about how probably every Canadian farmer has a stash of illegal guns somewhere. I insisted they were legal. i have yet to prove it....

Illegal guns? that's bad.......
