Family History

Mardy and I met in Edmonton in March 2004, we began dating in May and were married in November. We lived in Edmonton until May 2005 and we moved to San Diego to sell securtiy systems. I got a job at the Fort Macleod hospital so we moved there in August. We loved Fort Macleod and we were very sad to leave. We still have some very good friends there that we hope to keep forever. Mardy started going to school at the University of Lethbridge in September and he loved the class sizes and his professors. In August 2006 we found out that I was expecting our first child. We were very excited and thought that we would honor this occasion by sponsoring a little boy in Haiti named Issac. In October I got a job at the Coaldale Hospital and we moved to Taber to help out with Mardy's parents. April 2007 was a very busy time for us. We moved the first week to Lethbridge to live in the Family rez at the U of L. The following week Mardy's grandmother died. Finally my due date arrives the third week of April. Mardy wasn't feeling very good that day so I take him to the doctor and we find out that he needs emergency surgery to remove his appendix. The surgery went well but Mardy was unable to write any of his final exams at school. The nurses and doctors were very good to us and let me stay with Mardy the entire time he was in the hospital. I think they were a little afraid that I would go into labour. I started getting contractions the day after we got home from the hospital. 48 hours later we had a little baby girl. We named her Raven Ellen Litchfield. Raven was a named that I liked and couldn't get out of my head and Ellen was the name of my mother who passed away ten years earlier. During the summer Mardy attended summer school and I stayed home with Raven. We are currently still in Lethbridge and Mardy is loving the walk to school everyday. Mardy wrote the LSAT in September and is working on Law school applications. Our first choice is in Montreal but we will be excited to go anywhere.
